Changing
MFA Verification Phone Number
Instructions on how to change your Microsoft Multi-factor
verification phone number. This may be done before your 30 days are up or by
logging into a device that is still within the 30 day wait. You can also add
an alternative phone number.
1. Click on Account Manager.
2. Click on My Account.
3. Click on Manage security & privacy.
4. Click on Add or change your security
verification settings.
5. Click on Update your phone numbers used
for account security.
6. You can now edit the phone number that
is entered. You can also add an Alternate authentication phone number by
checking the box and adding the phone number.
7. Click the save button when done.
8. You will need to verify. The code will
be sent to your new phone number.
