Refer a Candidate - Employee

Overview

This user guide will assist you in referring a candidate for a role in Workday. 

  1. Refer a Candidate
    • Click the Search bar, enter Refer a Candidate, and select the task.
    • Using the Prompt icon , update the Country, if required.
    • Enter the candidate’s First Name.
    • Enter the candidate’s Last Name.
  2. Contact Information
    • Provide the candidate’s Contact Information.
  3. Job Details
    • Type the title of the Job, press Enter and Select the job you want to refer the candidate for.
  4. Relationship Details
    • Using the Prompt icon , select the Relationship between the candidate and yourself.
  5. Comments (required)
    • Add any relevant experience
  6. Resume / Cover Letter
    • In the Resume/Cover Letter box either Drag-and-Drop or click Select Files to choose a file from your computer.
  7. Other Documents
    • In the Other Documents box either Drag-and-Drop or click Select Files to choose a file from your computer.
  8. Click Submit.
  9. Click Done.

Next: A Hiring Manager will receive a notification to approve your referral.

View My Referrals

  1. Click the Search bar, enter My Referrals, and select the report.
  2. Your referrals will now be displayed.
