How to Download AutoCad and Revit
Go to the AutoDesk Website: https://autode.sk/2Nv0v7N
You will need to create an Account if you don’t already have one. Click Get Started to start the account creation.
Fill out the drop form for Country, Educational Role, Institution Type, and DOB.
Click NEXT
Then fill out personal info for account creation. Use your Chatham Email for the needed email address!
Once you click Create Account check your email to confirm the account. Once verified click Done.
When account is verified, please answer questions for Chatham University program.
Important: Verify Student Access
Once you have completed the above steps you will have 14 days to confirm your student status with Autodesk. When at the main software home page click on Get Started below “We still need to confirm your eligibility for educational access to Autodesk products. Click Get Started to begin the process.”
Please attach either your Transcript, School-Issued Confirmation, or a copy of your Chatham ID. Then click on Submit.
NOTE: Educational Access is valid for 1 year after creation and must be renewed with AutoDesk!
Once confirmed you will be able to download software from Autodesk.

Make Sure you are signed in with your Educational Access
Once logged in to your Educational Access, click on Get product for AutoCad and Revit to download and install the software. 
Clicking on the drop down will bring up two options. Install and Download. Only one of these options needs to be completed.
Install: Downloads one install file that will run and connect to Autodesk to download the full package to install. Keep laptop on, and connected to the Internet. Best if hard line connection via Ethernet instead of wireless.
Download: Downloads the full installer package. Revit is split in to 5 files. Web broswers by default block multiple downloads at once. When clicking download, check the top of your browser for this icon 
and then select Always allow pop-ups. This will allow all files to be downloaded directly to your laptop.
Locate files that were downloaded, and run to install. For Revit, click on the file with 001 in it’s name. This will open the application to exctract, and install all the Revit, or AutoCAD application.
Once extraction is complete, the application installer will open. Follow prompts for install. Once installed, use your Autodesk log in and pass to use Revit, or AutoCAD.
