Using YuJa Panorama in Brightspace
YuJa Panorama lets you open your course files in the format that works best for you—audio, ebook, translated text, and more—and adjust how Brightspace looks and reads.
What is YuJa Panorama?
Panorama is an accessibility tool built into your Brightspace courses. You don’t need to install anything or request access—it’s available to every student. Use it to:
- Listen to readings as audio while you commute or exercise.
- Read a course file on an e-reader or translate it into another language.
- Increase contrast, change fonts, or adjust spacing so pages are easier to read.
Good to know Panorama is for everyone, not only students with documented accommodations. If a different format helps you study, use it.
Download a file in an alternative format
- In your Brightspace course, go to Content and find the document you want.
- Select the Alternative Formats icon to the right of the document title.
- Choose a format from the list (see the table below for help choosing).
- Open the file in your browser or download it to your device.
Don’t see the icon, or is it grayed out? Instructors can turn off Alternative Formats for specific files. If you need a file in another format, contact your instructor or Chatham’s accessibility services office.
