Teams Phone Upgrade

Tags Phone

Congratulations. Your phone has been upgraded to the Microsoft Teams system. This upgrade has happened close to the end of the workday (4pm) order to allow time for all of the necessary changes to be made.  On the next day, please do the following:

1.  Log out of your Microsoft Teams application on all devices – computer, cell phone, tablet, etc.

2.  Please close the Microsoft Teams application on all devices.

3.  Open Microsoft Teams and log back into the software. This should refresh your Teams environment and apply new features to your account. Please note that Microsoft has stated full features can take up to 4 hours before they are fully functional.

4.  Click on the Calls icon found on the left-hand side of the Teams window. When you click on the Calls icon, the Calls menu will appear. You should see a number pad.

If you do not see a number pad, please respond to this email.

5.  Please call your office phone from another phone or have someone else call you – preferably someone outside of Chatham to verify you can receive calls. Your full phone number 412-365-xxxx will need to be used. Be sure to note that it goes to your voicemail or answer the phone for fun feedback. If your call goes to the Chatham Switchboard, please reply to this email.

6.  Please call your cell phone or someone else from your office phone to verify you can make calls. If you cannot, please reply to this email.

7.  Please verify that your voicemail has been setup and is working.  If it has not, please reply to this email.
