Overview
Any employee can request a new supplier to be set up in Workday. When requesting a new Supplier, enter as much information as you have, including the business name, contact information, and a name, phone number, or email address of the contact you have for that business, if applicable.
Create Supplier Request
- From the Workday search bar, enter Create Supplier Request and select the task.
- Enter the Supplier Name.
- Scroll down, click More, select the “Attachments”
- Select a file on the attachment tab, upload the W-9
- Click Submit
Next: This task will now route for approval to the relevant group(s). Please be aware that this is a request to create the supplier, this step alone does not create a supplier immediately for use.
