Ready2Ride UPass Mobile Ticket User Instructions

1.  On your phone, go to your app store (on iPhone, the App Store) (on Android, the Play Store)

  • Search Ready2Ride”
  • Select “PRT Ready2Ride”

  • Select “Install”
  • Once installed, select “Open”
  • At the main screen, select “My Account”

  • Select“New Account” and enter your university email address, create a password, confirm the password, then select “Create Account.”

  • Go to your email and find the verification email from “PRT Ready2Ride-Account Verification” and click on “Verify Account.”

3.  The main screen of the app has an option to add funds in order to use the Pay as You Go Function or to Buy Tickets to purchase a fare product. You will not need to use either of these options.

4.  Scroll down to see your Ticket Wallet and you will see your available UPass ticket if it has been issued.

5.  Prior to the first ride using a new pass, open the app, and select the ticket in your wallet - and then select “Activate.”

  • Select “Activate” again.

  • Your mobile ticket is now ready to scan on the Ready2Ride validator.

6.  When you board the vehicle, hover your phone showing the QR code over the “eye” until you hear the tone and see the green valid light.
